Cactus Gulch isn’t much to look at – a hotel, a gas station, a cantina. But once a year, the sleepy little village comes to life with its annual fiesta!
Guests from miles around flock to this tiny town to see the sights, sample the foods and take part in the big rodeo held on the first day of the fiesta.
On the second day of the fiesta, Cactus Gulch opens the doors of its Villa of Wonders to the public so they can view the town’s vast collection of oddities and watch shows put on by its talented purrformers.
But the best thing about Cactus Gulch Fiesta 2021? We’ve chosen it as this years’ location for #mrwuggumsfilmfest!
#mrwuggumsfilmfest will take place over two days this year – not only did we film a large body of work for Season Two, we’ll also be showing films created by other talented anipal directors in the Twitterverse!
Xanawu has purchased a stunning pink hacienda with adjoining theatre to use as its home away from home. Guests of #mrwuggumsfilmfest may stay at the hacienda or in town at the Hotel Gato where they can be closer to the local action.
So, arrive at your local PICK-M-UP station at the appointed time, drop your luggage at your chosen accommodations and hit the town for a whole mess of fun! Everyone is welcome to attend the rodeo on the first day of the festival, and the most courageous cowboys and cowgirls are even invited to participate!
