Xanawu exists happily under one philosophy – #KindnessMatters.

The incidents I have seen and experienced with the ECC over the past week truly saddened and disappointed me.

I no longer wish to be a part of, nor can I endorse the @EdibleCatsClub.

I can forgive the members of the group for their words/actions – many were my furriends before I was a part of the ECC, and many are certain to remain my furriends once I am gone.

What I find inexcusable, is the spreading of false information during an emotional outburst by leadership resulting in a mob mentality attack and defamation of character of not only myself but other members of their own “Club”.

Bullying by leadership as a means of problem solving rather than rational, healthy dialogue is unacceptable. It results in widespread, sometimes long term, psychological and emotional damage of REAL PEOPLE. It creates paranoia and divisiveness in our own beautiful community of #Anipals that we have worked so hard to build.

I hereby resign from the @EdibleCatsClub #ECC as a member. My security agency, The Pinkerton Cats have hereby terminated their contract with said club as well.

I feel a healthy reevaluation of leadership skills and conflict resolution technique is sorely needed within this group, and I do wish them well in their restructuring from the ground up.

Xanawu is a land of peace and inclusiveness – the kettle is always on and there’s a hug in every cuppa….we will always love our furriends – all #CatsOfTwitter #Anipals and Kind Souls are welcome at each and every one of our events.
